- Accounts connect read-only through Plaid. We see balances and activity, never your password.

- The tokens that refresh your accounts live in an encrypted vault no browser or phone can reach.

- Every row of data belongs to one household, and the database refuses it to anyone outside it.

- Your data is encrypted in transit with TLS and at rest in our database, and so are our backups.

- Figures from your bank can’t be edited, only annotated or split, so they match your statements.

- Every new session is confirmed with a code sent to your email, and idle sessions end in 10 minutes.

Can Foundation move money out of my accounts?
No. Connections are read-only, so they can’t be used to move money, by us or by anyone else.
Does Foundation see my bank password?
No. You sign in to your bank inside Plaid’s secure window. Foundation receives a read-only token, never your credentials.
What is Plaid?
Plaid is the connection service behind thousands of US financial apps. It links your bank to an app with your permission, using read-only access you can revoke at any time.
Do you sell my data?
No. We don’t sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers, and we don’t show ads. See our privacy policy for the details.
Is my data used to train AI models?
Your data is used to run your own Foundation, such as sorting your transactions and answering your questions. It is never sold, and never used to train anyone else’s model.
Can I disconnect an account or delete my data?
Yes. Disconnect any account at any time from Settings, or delete your account and everything in it.
